I think the best way to get a sense for supply is to look at ANDA filings by year... Gives a sense for generics coming on market. These spiked dramatically starting in 2016 and just within the past 2 years have started to level off... Poor returns over long periods of time generally give way to supply leaving the market!
Interesting. Is there a supply vs demand forecast for the generic pharma market? Didn’t think generics were that cyclical, but way outside my lane.
